Hi, I’m Freddie. The one behind the vegan gel products! GloryNailz formally known as Simply Drissy Nails, was birthed from my personal experience at the nail salon. It was in 2019 when I went to get what will be my very last gel manicure at the salon. I got injured by a nail technician and received awful customer service that had me in disbelief, considering I had been attending that nail salon for the past 15 plus years. I knew the owner of the salon and even followed them from their previous salon. It was at that moment that I said to myself, ‘I might as well learn how to do my own nails to make sure that I don’t get hurt anymore.’ I went on to do some research on how to obtain healthy and strong growing nails. I came across a few vegan, 9 free harsh chemicals and cruelty free nail products that would do the job just right. From that point forward, the journey of Simply Drissy Nails now known as GloryNailz began. I started as a self taught artist doing my own nails and slowly receiving requests from family and friends. As my skills enhanced over the years, I decided to take the next step and get certified. Within a couple of months I went from being a self taught technician to a licensed nail technician. It’s been an amazing journey to say the least, with the Holy Spirit being my personal guide. Nails has always been apart of my lifestyle, an outlet to express myself and I’m assuming yours too.
